Ishka is the goddess of rain. When Nenia and her father go to the temple on Mt. Dena, they find her. Nenia and her father are very enraged when they arrive. Nenia's father demands an explanation for the water, and comes at Ishka with anger. Ishka 

explains that If it weren't for herself, Nenia and her father would be dead. She is very knowledgable, very kind and peaceful even when other people are mad at her.  She convinces them that rain is very important, and without it they would be without life.
